1- Annual Community Fire Season Briefing (Virtual)

Please join us for the Annual Community Fire Season Briefing to be held on Monday October 2nd at 6:00 pm via Zoom.


Los Angeles County Fire Department Assistant Fire Chief Drew Smith, Fire Behavior Analyst, will give a presentation on local Live Fuel Moisture, expected weather patterns, and what that means for fire conditions in Calabasas. 

This presentation will be virtual, and can be viewed live or later on-demand. 

2-Community Input Opportunity

Community Input Now Being Accepted for the Calabasas 2023 Emergency Operations Plan

The City of Calabasas is seeking input on the Calabasas 2023 Emergency Operations Plan. Public review of the draft plan is available now, comments accepted only until Thursday March 16, 2023. You can review the 2-part plan here: Calabasas Emergency Operations Plan information page

Virtually all of the populated areas of SoCal – from Oxnard down to the Mexican border are facing new water restrictions due to our historic water shortage. About six million people in all and that includes our Las Virgenes Municipal Water District will be impacted.
